Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Convertly ("the Software", "the Service"), operated by Alfredo ("we", "us", "Provider"), based in Guatemala. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, Inc. as Merchant of Record. By purchasing, downloading, or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Convertly is a self-hostable API for extracting structured data (JSON) from scanned invoices in Spanish-speaking markets (Spain, Mexico, Argentina). The Software is distributed as a Docker Compose stack you run on infrastructure you control.
2. License Tiers and Trial
- Trial — Free use, limited to 10 invoice extractions per calendar month. No support included.
- Single-user — $79 USD one-time — Perpetual license for 1 named user. 12 months of updates and standard email support from purchase date.
- Team — $149 USD one-time — Perpetual license for up to 5 named users within one organization. 12 months of updates and support.
- Enterprise — $399 USD one-time — Perpetual license for unlimited users within one legal entity. 12 months of priority support.
3. Permitted Use
Subject to payment of the applicable license fee, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for your own internal business or personal purposes.
4. Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, or lease the Software to third parties.
- Reverse-engineer beyond what applicable law permits.
- Remove copyright notices, license keys, or attribution.
- Use the Software to provide a competing API/SaaS service to third parties without an Enterprise license and explicit written permission.
- Share, publish, or expose your license key publicly.
5. Output Accuracy
The Software uses OCR and large language models to extract data from invoices. Outputs may contain errors. You are solely responsible for verifying extracted data against the original source document before relying on it for accounting, tax filing, or any legal purpose.
6. Data Privacy
Convertly runs on your own infrastructure. Invoices you process never leave your servers unless you configure them to. We do not collect or have access to your invoice data. License validation contacts Lemon Squeezy's API only to verify the license key remains valid. See our Privacy Policy.
7. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (14-day money-back guarantee).
8. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF EXTRACTION OUTPUT, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Provider be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Maximum aggregate liability is capped at the license fee you paid.
10. Termination
This license terminates automatically if you breach any term. Upon termination you must cease use and destroy all copies. Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Guatemala. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Guatemala City.
